This year's Breast Surgery and Body Contouring Symposium will highlight advances in breast aesthetics and reconstructive breast surgery as well advanced concepts in body contouring techniques. Learn about the new developments in form-stable implants and the technical nuances and planning approaches that must be considered. Complications and adverse events associated with breast surgery and methods on improving results will be presented.

A timely session on practice management strategies in these challenging economic conditions will complement the clinical education program content. Interactive panel and audience presentations will be utilized to enhance the learning experience.

The body contouring section of the program will highlight patient safety and the nutritional support needs of the bariatric surgery patient. Controversies in abdominoplasty and body contouring techniques will be presented by recognized experts. Advanced concepts such as secondary procedures to optimize patient outcomes in the massive weight loss (MWL) patient will be identified.

The Saturday afternoon program will focus on microsurgical breast reconstruction through a joint sponsorship arrangement with ASRM.

Finally, two one-hour MOC-PS™ courses will be offered at the conclusion of the symposium program on Thursday and Friday. These courses are free of charge. The Comprehensive Breast Augmentation course aligns with the Augmentation Mammaplasty tracer procedure and the Comprehensive Lipoplasty course aligns with the Suction-Assisted Lipectomy tracer procedure.
