The 5th National Laser and Cosmetic Medicine Conference, will be held in Sydney on 12-13 September. The Australasian Society of Cosmetic Medicine have secured Dr Mitchel Goldman as the keynote speaker. Dr Goldman is a Clinical Professor in Medicine and Dermatology at the University of California, San Diego, and a recent recipient of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery's 21st Century Achievement Award. 

The conference program offers a variety of modules, with a three day pre-conference introductory workshop for doctors who are new to the field, the two day conference and a concurrent accredited program on laser safety for nurses and other healthcare workers. The workshop and conference are accredited by the RACGP for CME. 

A special event at this year's conference will be the inaugural convocation of Fellows of the new Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine. The convocation will precede the celebration gala dinner at the Sheraton on the Park Hotel.
