At The Macquarie Street Centre we specialise in aesthetic, implant and reconstructive dentistry. We treat a variety of dental problems, with many of our patients referred to us by other dentists, medical practitioners and from our own satisfied patients.

With some patients, their needs may be quite simple and may involve tooth whitening preocedures or the treatment of a single tooth, for example. For others, it may involve the replacement of single or multiple missing teeth and this may include the use of all-ceramic crown and bridge technologies or, alternatively, the use of dental implants. For patients requiring a more significant cosmetic improvement, their treatment may include tooth whitening procedures and the use of porcelain veneers or allporcelain crowns.

A significant part of our practice is devoted to full-mouth reconstructions, often involving several other specialists including orthodontists, periodontists, endodontists, plastic surgeons and maxillofacial surgeons. These patients often have both aesthetic and functional issues due to a variety of reasons, which may include congenital factors, trauma, misadventure or neglect. Treatment for these patients is often undertaken using a team approach with other specialists, with the final reconstruction being performed utilising all-ceramic crown and bridge technologies and/ or the use of dental implants.

Our approach is one of consultation, comprehensive assessment and treatment, rather than piece-meal, 'patchup' dentistry. Our goals in treatment are to provide our patients with excellent aesthetics, function and long-term treatment solutions with minimum ongoing maintenance needs. For some, this may be achieved in a short timeframe, whilst for others, due to the complexity of their case or time and financial considerations, their treatment may extend over several years.
