Dr John Flynn is a Past President of the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery and a current Fellow of the College. As a Fellow, he is required by the College to participate in the yearly re-certification programme to ensure he stays up-to-date with the latest cosmetic surgery and medicine advances. He has studied extensively and holds qualifications from Australia and overseas.

Dr Flynn has developed new techniques in facelifting and nonsurgical facial rejuvenation and has contributed to textbooks on these subjects. He also regularly teaches cosmetic surgery in Australia and overseas.

Dr Flynn's special interest is in facial cosmetic procedures, including facelifts, eyelid surgery, thread lifts and skin cancer management, as well as breast enlargements and reductions. Dr Sonya Stemper has joined the practice and specialises in liposuction and photodynamic therapy (PDT).

The practice also offers an extensive range of nonsurgical rejuvenation procedures such as the Soft Skin Programme, which puts the 'glow factor' back into skin. Numerous laser and light therapy alternatives are also available.

One of the most worrying issues for patients considering any type of cosmetic procedure is whether the doctor is experienced and whether they are going to look too different. It is very important to us that after a procedure is performed that the patient looks 'natural' and not 'over- done'. We appreciate the confidence our patients have in the doctors at our practice and we do our best to respect that confidence. Cosmetic surgery is a very personal issue and everyone's needs are different. We recognise this and strive to individualise treatments to suit each patient's requirements.
