The Expo kicked into glam gear when the worlds of spa and beauty came together for the first of two very jam-packed days! There were plenty of highlights over the weekend, from live demonstrations, educational seminars and the highly anticipated Makeup Awards and Nail Competitions.

Nicole Burford impressed at the main stage with her Runway to Reality demo. The Bella team learnt that the statement lip is the must-do trend for the season.

Rae Morris' Advanced Class was again an expo highlight, with a packed out session on Saturday afternoon.

We stopped off at the Nail Bar, which seemed to be everyone's favourite spot. Bio Sculpture and Minx preened fashions maven nails to perfection and their taste buds were tantalized by a refreshing cocktail.

The Nail Competitions featured Tips & Overlays, Sculpture and Embedded Nail Art showcasing amazing technique and talent.

Organics and naturals are definitely becoming one of the fastest growing areas in the spa and beauty industry. Their dedicated zone showcased lines of products certified by a trust certification body, either Australian or International. Cosmetics, candles, treatments, skincare and wellness products were featured at the organic stands.

The future of the spa industry was featured in a visionary gallery-style environment, showcasing emerging trends in the world of all things spa related. It was a great opportunity for beauty goers to see how the spa industry is evolving and the direction that top spas in Australia are taking

Expert business advice on the latest hot topics was hosted by new fresh faces. It was also a one-stop shop for the latest products from companies who you may not have seen in previous years.

The Bella team thought this year's beauty expo couldn't have gone smoother. We were able to meet, greet and chat to fellow beauty lovers about their businesses, the latest trends.
